Georgetown upends No. 21 Creighton in Big East semifinal

The sixth-seeded Hoyas (22-10) will meet top-seeded UConn for the tournament title on Monday night.
Georgetown shot only 38.5 percent from the field overall and had 14 turnovers, but the second-seeded Bluejays (25-5) hit just 26.3 percent of their shots and turned the ball over 10 times. The Hoyas held a 43-28 rebounding advantage.
Morgan Maly finished with 14 points, the only player to hit double figures for Creighton. She added six rebounds.
Georgetown led 26-23 at halftime but upped the margin to 13 in the third quarter. Creighton never got closer than six the rest of the way.
