Inside the Homes of NFL Stars: Mahomes, Rodgers, and More
In addition to shining on the field, NFL stars know how to invest in lavish properties that reflect their success. From modern architecture to waterfront residences, these players have acquired dream homes across the United States. Four renowned quarterbacks in particular stand out with exceptional real estate holdings.
Matthew Stafford: luxury properties in Hidden Hills
Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford has a taste for prestigious properties. He recently acquired a $28.2 million home in Hidden Hills, California, a contemporary property built in place of Jennifer Lopez's former home. In 2022, Stafford bought another residence with a vineyard, also in Hidden Hills, for $10.5 million. The same year, he bought two properties from rapper Drake before selling them for $6.8 and $7.5 million.
Patrick Mahomes: a veritable real estate empire
Three-time Super Bowl winner Patrick Mahomes owns an impressive collection of property. The Kansas City Chiefs prodigy owns a modern house in the suburbs of Kansas City and a two-bedroom penthouse in the same city. Originally from Texas, Mahomes has also invested in a 725 m² mansion in Westlake, featuring a wine cellar, swimming pool and luxurious outdoor space. Finally, he recently acquired an 8-acre plot in Belton, Missouri, foreshadowing the construction of a future mega-home.
Aaron Rodgers: a splendid collection in Malibu and New York
Now a player with the New York Jets, Aaron Rodgers has built up an impressive real estate portfolio over the course of his career. He owns a prestigious beach house in Malibu, purchased from Robbie Williams for the modest sum of $28 million. As you can imagine, this residence boasts breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean! But it also boasts a swimming pool and guest house.
More recently, Rodgers acquired a modern home in Montclair, New Jersey, for $9.5 million. This home boasts spectacular views over Manhattan, a luxurious pied-à-terre close to MetLife Stadium!
Jared Goff: a savvy California investor
Renowned Detroit Lions QB Jared Goff has mastered the art of investing in California real estate. Last year, he purchased a mansion in Manhattan Beach for $10.5 million. The ocean-view mansion features 5 bedrooms, a cinema room, swimming pool and pool house. Goff also owns a neighboring house, which he acquired in 2023 for $8.6 million. Prior to that, he sold a house in Hidden Hills for $6.3 million, a handsome profit on his initial investment.
